Russian Avant-garde Quotes

A super-eclectic, post-genre music album on the verge of sound art.

I do not consider myself a musician or composer, but I consider myself an audiovisual artist with deep knowledge in music and sound art. My attitude to music as a free form, as one of the most metaphysical forms of art.

This album uses very different music making practices. Combining genres, abandoning the genre form, and, of course, direct quoting of the ideas of Russian avant-garde artists, composers, poets and artists.

Avant-garde for me is a turning point in art. And if we consider the artists separately, then this period everyone experienced individually and developed differently in their work. So it happens to me in this album from composition to composition to use very different concepts, methods and practices for creating music, which is the unifying link.

Сверх-эклектичный, пост жанровый музыкальный альбом на грани со звуковым искусством.

Я не считаю себя музыкантом или композитором, но считаю себя аудиовизуальным художником, имеющим глубокие познания в музыке и звуковом искусстве. Мое отношение к музыке как к свободной форме, как к одному из самых метафизических видов искусств.

В этом альбоме используются очень разные практики создания музыки. Совмещение жанров, отказ от жанровой формы, и, конечно же, прямое цитирование идей русских авангардистов, композиторов, поэтов и художников.

Авангард для меня - это переломный момент в искусстве. И если мы будем рассматривать художников отдельно, то этот период все пережили индивидуально и по разному развили в своем творчестве. Так и мне случается в этом альбоме от композиции к композиции использовать очень разные концепции, методы и практики создания музыки, что и является объединяющим звеном.
